After more glitchery stuff in "april's diary" カモミール と メリッサ continue with a lo-fi album saturated with the rustles of frayed cassette tapes. But this underlying disquiet barely seeps into the overall ethereality of the sound. This album is very shifting and almost unceasing in its gentle swiftness. The producer succeeds this time too in creating a soundscape in which more and more surprisingly beautiful details become audible with each successive listening.
These are eight diverse tracks, which are characterized by a shaky and unstable nature, despite the purity of sound. The lulling, flowing repetition of the synthesizer hides light dissonances, inclusions of electric guitar, melodic bells and samples of a distant Japanese platform. The richness of the sound palette is also achieved through the multi-instrumental nature of the album - xylophone, flute, tubular bells and percussion are also used. Delicate beats
on some tracks by Trams For Hire organize the sound space into their own unique atmosphere.
All eight pieces are united by the common theme of the path. The duality of sonic events in the tracks can already be considered the project's iconic signature. So this is both an existential journey through inner spaces and a stroll through long familiar surroundings. But this movement is not aimless, but has its own beginning, transforming peak and happy epilogue.

Но это скрытое беспокойство едва просачивается в общую эфирность звучания. Этот альбом очень подвижный и почти непрерывный в своей мягкой стремительности. Продюсеру удается и в этот раз создать звуковой пейзаж, в котором с каждым последующим прослушиванием становятся заметны всё большее количество удивляющих своей красотой деталей.
Это восемь разноплановых треков, которым присуща зыбкость и непостоянство, несмотря на чистоту звучания. Убаюкивающая, текучая повторяемость синтезатора скрывает за собой легкие диссонансы, вкрапления электрической гитары, мелодичных звонов и сэмплы далекого японского перрона. Богатство звуковой палитры достигается еще и за счет мультиинструментальности альбома - в нем использованы также ксилофон, флейта, трубчатые колокола и перкуссии. Деликатные биты от Trams For Hire на некоторых треках придают альбому упорядоченности происходящего.
Все восемь пьес объединены общей темой пути. Двойственность звуковых событий в треках уже можно считать знаковым почерком проекта. Так что это как экзистенциальное путешествие по внутренним просторам, так и прогулка по давно знакомой окружающей местности. Но это движение не бесцельное, а имеющее свое начало, трансформирующую кульминацию и счастливый эпилог.
